Cannondale Road Bikes

"Cannondale Bicycles and Cannondale Mountain Bikes..."

...One trait that many riders across the globe have in common is that they own Cannondale bicycles - from Cannondale Mountain Bikes to road bikes.  This company has headquarters in the United States and branches in Australia, Holland, and Japan.  Cannondale sells bicycles for women, recreation, racing, and other needs.

Whatever bicycles Cannondale sells shows that it is a leader in the bicycle industry.  Take the Cannondale tandem, which lets two people share a bicycle in style.  Both riders get plenty of stand-over clearance for easier pedaling, along with tandem hubs and tires.  Its brakes are superior side-pull cantilevers, so stopping is no problem.  You do have to get your own pedals, since they aren't included.

Cannondale has gone from a little-known company to becoming a leader in the bicycle industry.  A popular bicycle came out in 2001, known as the Multisport 600, with a unique aero frame and fork.  And Cannondale continues to expand and improve its bicycles.

Bike riders who race or train for fitness could try Cannnondale's r1000.  This bicycle has Cannodale's signature aluminum frame, a Shimano Ultegra rear derailleur, and Hutchinson Reflex tires.  Plus, the r1000 comes in beautiful black or yellow and green colors.

Cannondale has a long-time tradition of sponsoring athletes for Ironman Triathlon World Championships.  For instance, this bicycle giant sponsored Thomas Hellriegal, a German who became the World Champion in 1997.  Hellriegal went on to win third place in the Triathlon four years later.

For professional athletes, like Hellriegal, and for other riders, Cannondale sells a special line of Ironman bicycles.  One example is the Ironman 600, with an aero carbon fork, a 9-speed Shimano chain, and a 3-D forged stem.

Cannondale lets riders know of their commitment to cycling.  In 2004, an athlete named Christian Sadowski began the Ironman competition in Kona, Hawaii.  A motorcycle destroyed his bicycle as the race was about to start, but Sadowski put his bicycle on his shoulders and ran the race, with no shoes.

When Sadowski reached the finish line, about sixteen hours later, Cannondale rewarded his bravery.  Even though Cannondale wasn't sponsoring Sadowski, the company gave him an Ironman bicycle.

Cannondale bicycles aren't just for racing.  Since police officers use bicycles in their line of work, Cannondale has met their needs by selling the Interceptor and the Pursuit.  Both versions are heavy-duty, with machined sidewall rims for toughness, a Furio-X frame, and durable pedals with clips and straps.

You can see a few differences between the Pursuit and Interceptor.  While the Interceptor has a 9-speed Shimano chain, the Pursuit has an 8-speed KMC chain, among other difference.

Meanwhile, women riders can try F400 Feminine, which has a cushioned saddle with a cutaway, as well as handlebars and brake levers fit for a lady.  But this mountain bike doesn't cut back on performance.  Then the woman's Adventure 1000 lets you enjoy a day outdoors, with a gel seat, Wellgo alloy cage pedals, and Cannondale wind hubs.

For racing, you can go for the Feminine r1000.  This women's bicycle has the same high-performance as the men's version of r1000, but designed specifically to fit women.  The Feminine Optimo frame, the Mavic Ksyrium, Elite rims, and the Shimano Ultegra derailleur combine to give you the best riding experience.

Cannondale has proven to riders in many countries that it can deliver the best bicycles in the industry. Test ride both the Cannondale mountain bikes and Cannondale road bikes.
