Comfortable Bicycle Seat

"Australian Bicycle Seat First in Comfort...

..."Fanny fear" keeps many from enjoying bicycle riding.  It's seems to be true  that most ordinary bike seats were designed to inflict as much pain as possible on the rider.  Well, a company from down-under comes up big with a bicycling breakthrough...a Comfortable Bicycle Seat!

A bicycle designed in Australian tackled the problem of bicycle "seat-soreness" and come out the winner.  This is the first bicycle in history to be designed from the seat first.

Even though a bicycle seat seems closely related to an instrument of torture there are still over 100 million bikes sold each year around the world.

The seat-soreness problem has existed for over a century and is still the greatest deterrent to people riding bicycles.

Those ridiculously painful seats are the biggest hurdle for governments around the world who have a mission of getting more people to ride bicycles.  Bikes can play an important role in helping to preserve the environment, avoid traffic meltdowns in urban areas and improve levels of national fitness.

Peter Clutton comes to the rescue.  Peter is the Australian designer of the Stylyx 'Lifestyle' bicycle and bike seat. Clutton says, "At first, we made the same mistake as many other designers, believing we could remove the unhealthy pressure and chafing just by having an ergonomically-shaped seat with no pommel, but we then found there was no bicycle in existence able to finely position each rider to take full advantage of the new seat's supporting shape."

Peter went back to the drawing board and developed new technology in the seatpost and frame geometry.  Now each rider can be perfectly positioned to suit his or her personal physique and be located on the seat in a very exact position, to take full advantage of the seat's supporting shape."

The bike's frame design puts the rider in an upright position.  This allows the rider's bodyweight to be directly over the seat.  That design eliminates back and neck strain caused from the conventional "bent spine" riding position. This breakthrough in positioning, combined with the correct support from the STYLYX bikeseat, produces a strain-free riding experience.
 
Another benefit of this new design is that the rider is positioned lower and behind the pedals to produce a more efficient pedaling position and it makes pedaling much easier...all while seated on a comfortable bicycle seat.
